Baby girl turns 1!

Our sweet EClaire turned one year old!  I feel like this year has gone by so fast, but at the same time, so much has happened since she was born!  Here is a picture of her and her cousin on her special day!

It was such a sweet day.  Thank you to all our family and friends that showed up to love our little girl.

6 months

This sweetie pie is 6 months old!  She is about to turn our world upside down, because she is close to crawling.  Time to baby proof all over again! She is a petite little miss at 13 lbs (2^nd percentile), but that little girl takes up a big part of our hearts.  She has two little teeth that she likes to chomp with; she is loving food so far.  She likes baby oatmeal, apples, squash, sweet potatoes, and green beans.  She likes to babble, roll over, sit up, rock on her hands and knees., and reach for EVERYTHING.  She is pretty serious most of the time, but she does like to smile and laugh at mommy and daddy.  Happy half a year baby girl!

Cade's Construction Birthday Party

I cannot believe our Cade turned 2!  I know every parent says this at EVERY milestone, but time flies with these little ones.  Just a reminder to me to cherish every moment.  He has three main loves right now- horses, tractors/trucks, and hats, so we decided to combine the latter two for a construction birthday party.

Cade is such a fun boy who really loves life.  He likes to wear a hat every day, he likes to dance, and loves animals (especially horses).  He likes to be clean; he wants to wipe his hands clean while he is eating and I've even caught him "cleaning" shelves with a napkin.  He doesn't like to have even a small piece of lint in his bathtub.  No dirt allowed!  He is learning every single day.  I am amazed each day that he knows something new and can say a new word.  We love you Cade!
