Christmas in Kansas

This year we were able to celebrate Christmas with the Arehearts in Kansas. We were actually able to drive instead of fly. I think this was the best week for Ben since we moved to Colorado because he actually had an entire week off. Here is a picture of our living room with our obese tree!

Thanksgiving and Our Time Back in SC!!

I know this post is so late, but better late than never. We were able to go back to SC for a couple days over Thanksgiving. The warm weather and welcome were just what we needed. Here is the whole Schultz family (minus Aaron) on Thanksgiving.

The day after Thanksgiving, we went to cut down a Christmas tree from a tree farm. Here is my nephew and niece, Austin and Hayden. I miss these kids soooooo much!

It was so wonderful to be back in the south and specifically, South Carolina. I was even able to see one of my besties, Abbey Poff! I very sad to say, that we did not even get a picture together or I would have posted it.

Breckenridge

We decided to take a trip to Breckenridge last weekend because Ben had off for Veteran's Day and I always have Fridays off. It was a beautiful drive. Here are some of the pictures we took along the way.

A cute little town in the middle of nowhere:

Our first snow- October 7!!

I couldn't believe it when I woke up to a winter wonderland on October 7! I know, I guess I am still in denial that the winter season is really here and may last for 5-7 more months!! The snow didn't last long; it was melted by the next day, but I must admit, it was very pretty.

We got our second round of snow this past week. They were calling for up to 12 inches of snow, but I think we only ended up getting around 6 inches. This is a whole new world for a South Carolina girl like me!

A Weekend of Fall Fun

This past weekend, the dental squadron had a retreat at Farish, which is a military recreational resort. We got to enjoy the aspens changing colors, fun times by the campfire, smores, hiking, and hot chocolate!!

The residents cooked breakfast for everyone on Saturday.

The wedding ridge- Aimee, are you sure you don’t want to have a destination wedding in Colorado??
