Eagles Peak

Last weekend we hiked to Eagles Peak, an awesome hike on the Air Force Academy. The hike was intense, but the view from the top was worth it.

This is a picture of Ben with the Air Force Academy (AFA) in the background, and Colorado Springs is beyond that.

Just call him adventurous Ben- he is climbing down to the most dangerous point!

Pikes Peak

We rode the Cog Railway up to the top of Pikes Peak. The views were spectacular from the top (when the clouds would clear), but it was Freeeeezzzing!! Beware, if you ever go to the top of Pikes Peak, even in August, please dress warmly.

All in all, it was a really fun thing to do, and I will definitely do it again with Ben. We might even hike to the top!
