Baby shower fun

We have been so blessed with many friends and family who want to celebrate our little boy with us.  We had a shower in Colorado Springs before we moved.  This is the lovely hostess, Jackie.

 A couple of weeks ago, we had a baby shower in Charleston.  Here I am at almost 31 weeks.

Our new house

We finally made it into a house a couple of weeks ago.  After lots of planning, thinking, praying, deliberating, we decided to rent.  Here is our house.  We are so excited to finally be in our own place. 

There were a couple of rooms that needed some love ie NEW PAINT.  Ben and my dad tackled the dining room which was a really dark hunter green.  They did a fabulous job.

My mom and I painted the room that will be the nursery (really mostly mom did it).  As you can see, it was a bright school bus yellow.  Thank goodness that is gone and is now replaced with gray.  More pictures to come once the nursery is finished.

Here are my parents after a long day of hard work.  As you can see by their attire, they were freezing in our house.  What can I say?  I'm pregnant!

31 weeks and growing

We have made it to 31 weeks!!!  I can't believe we could meet our sweet little guy in 9 weeks.  We have a lot to do in the next nine weeks including the nursery!  

27 weeks

We have made it to 27 weeks which means we are 1 week away from the third trimester!  

 Ben was super excited when my parents gave us a little gift this weekend to prepare our little man for football season!  Thanks Papa and Grammy!

Wrapping up our time in Colorado- Part 1

We tried to cram a lot of fun in the last 2 months while we were in Colorado.  Ben and his co-residents went white water rafting.

 Ben's parents came to visit us in July.  Here we are at the Air Force Academy chapel.

Baby Areheart Update

Baby Areheart is growing!  I haven't been very good about documenting, in fact, these are the first pictures I have taken.
